Visit the outdoor market and the funfair, have a drink overlooking the sea at one of the dozens of bars, cafes and pubs and try some traditional Spanish tapas. There are also many-many international restaurants including Italian, Mexican, Indian, Chinese etc. Later you can dance the night away in one of the dance bars and clubs along Torrevieja´s 'Disco Street'. Or if you prefer to take it easy why not have dinner ' al fresco' on your own terrace? Torrevieja´s fabulous climate makes it possible almost all year round! On hot days you can cool down in the community´s outdoor pool.

 

Playa de los Locos is a popular seaside suburb of Torrevieja, about 15 minutes walk from the city centre. It has a beautiful, long, sandy beach and many Spanish and international restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes. You can eat in a different place every day of your holiday. The buses run along the beachfront into Torrevieja town centre or, if you take the bus in the opposite direction, you can go to La Mata and Guardamar where there are more fantastic beaches and activities to choose from. There are grocery stores and supermarkets within walking distance. 'Carrefour' hipermarket and the new 'Habaneras' shopping centre are a short drive away. There are three 18-hole golf courses within 20 minutes drive and the historical towns of Alicante & Murcia are easily accessible on the motorway with plenty to see and do.
